Our History
With over 3 billion people living on less than $2.50 day the necessity of medical charity is an obvious one. Over the past decade Women for World Health has contributed a variety of treatments to the developing world:
Our primary focus as an organization -- 80% of the world's blindness is curable
We have a great deal of experience treating scars, burns, growths, and other ailments
Women for World Health has treated patients of all ages, some as young as a few weeks
As with pediatrics we provide whatever medical aid possible during a mission to people of all ages
Our Mission
Women for World Health will comprehensively evaluate and identify community health needs in developing nations and provide support for these needs through volunteer medical missions.
Founded in 2008, Women for World Health is an organization dedicated to providing surgical treatment for the ailments of developing populations. Our volunteers have organized surgical missions across multiple continents in an attempt to improve the lives of the less fortunate. Originally specializing in plastics, our mission has also grown to include the treatment of cataracts.

I am here to express my gratitude and my admiration for all you are doing to help poor people around the world, particularly in Peru. It is very difficult to find words to express our gratitude. We admire you. The patients are very grateful for what you have done and you are always welcome in Ica.
